«professional investor» means an investor which is considered to be a professional client or may, on request, be treated as a professional client within the meaning of Annex II of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law as amended;
«well informed investor» means every investor which is not a professional investor and fulfils the following conditions:
(a) the investor confirms in writing that he is a well-informed investor and that he is aware of the risks related with the proposed investment; and
(b) either his investment in the AIF amounts, at least, to €125 000, or he is assessed as a well-informed investor, either by a credit institution that falls within the scope of the Banking Laws as amended, or by an Investment Firm, or by a UCITS management company and the above mentioned assessment shows that he has the necessary experience and knowledge to be able to evaluate the appropriateness of the investment in the AIF;
Authorised User
Access to the statutory documents of the Funds managed by Hanseatic Capital Management Ltd (the HCM Funds) such as the Prospectus, Offering Memorandum, Subscription Forms etc. is granted only to such prospective investors that the HCM has previously vetted and provided the status of the Authorised User. Authorised Users may be provided with access to the aforementioned statutory documents. Authorised Users are not allowed to distribute, disseminate or otherwise market the statutory documents without the prior written express approval of the HCM management.
Hanseatic Capital Management Ltd retains the right to reject any application from any person (legal or natural) to become an Authorised User and shall not liable to explain to the said person the rationale behind such rejections.
Authorised Users are not clients/investors of any fund. Any Authorised User will have to download on his own and read the relevant statutory documents of the HCM Fund he/she is interested in investing.
HCM retains the right to reject any application by an Authorised User for subscription to any HCM Fund.
