Hanseatic Capital Management

Hanseatic Capital Management Limited (“HCM”) is a private and independent Alternative Investment Fund Manager (“AIFM”), licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”), with AIFM License Number AIFM 21/56/2013. HCM has an excellent track record of establishing its own funds, as well as managing a number of third-party funds through its hosting platform.

HCM is part of the Schulte Group, a leading German family-owned ship-owning and ship-management company with a history of more than 135 years in the maritime industry. The Schulte Group employs 18,000 seafarers and 2,000 people on shore through its global network of offices in over 30 locations, while its business activities span across ship owning, ship management, maritime software development, logistics solutions and other maritime services.

Managed by a highly skilled and diverse board of directors, HCM manages Shipping Funds in Cyprus and other EU jurisdictions.

HCM also manages third-party funds through its hosting platform, a service for investment funds across the EU, at a fraction of the cost and time. This service offers Fund Sponsors an alternative to establishing their own fund management company. Funds under HCM’s platform benefit from operational cost efficiencies, existing middle and back office operations, and speed to market, while maintaining their independent identity.

The platform solution can support funds of any size and type, providing the full spectrum of fund management functions, including portfolio management, risk management, compliance/AML and administration. HCM can assist fund managers in selecting which of the functions they would prefer to perform internally, outsourcing the rest to HCM in a seamless environment.
